Fun and Healthy After School Snack Ideas


Cereal is quick and easy, and there are a lot of healthy choices so you will be able to find something that your kids like.

Up the nutritional value by tossing in a handful of raisins or blueberries, or topping with a few slices of strawberries or banana. For a nutty flavour, add in a some crumbled walnuts or sliced almonds.

You could even make your own healthy trail mix using your children's favorite cereal tossed together with dried fruit, nuts, and chunks of dark chocolate.

The blend of sweet fruit, protein packed nuts, and carbohydrates will give your kids everything they need to keep them alert while doing homework or other after school activities.

Fruit and Veggies

Yes, fruits and veggies can be fun and interesting.
